USA White Edges USA Blue, 1-0

USA White edged USA Blue, 1-0, in a 20-minute scrimmage here tonight at USA Hockey's National Junior Evaluation Camp at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Michigan.

Both teams traded chances in the opening minutes before Rem Pitlick (Plymouth, Minn.) tucked a loose puck at the left post past goaltender Jake Oettinger (Lakeville, Minn.) for the game's lone goal just before the midway point of the scrimmage.

With four minutes remaining, Clayton Keller (Swansea, Ill.) collected a loose puck along the wall and skated in alone for a breakaway opportunity that was stopped by Evan Sarthou (Black Diamond, Wash.).

Brock Boeser (Burnsville, Minn.) nearly gave USA White a 2-0 advantage in the final seconds but his one-timer from Keller was turned aside.

Following a cleaning of the ice, the two teams returned to the ice where they conducted power play and penalty kill drills.
