Beginning tomorrow (April 12), each day a different member(s) of the U.S. National Sled Hockey Team will share their thoughts during the team's journey here at the 2017 Para Sled Hockey World Championship.

OPENING CEREMONY
Upon returning to the hotel, the U.S. National Sled Hockey Team joined its opponents at the hotel for the tournament's opening ceremony. In addition to welcoming speeches, Noah Grove (Frederick, Md.) was Team USA's chosen flag bearer.

FIRST PRACTICE IN KOREA
The team hit the ice at Gangneung Hockey Centre for its first practice in Korea. With a capacity of 10,000, the facility will host both the ice hockey and sled hockey competitions during next year's 2018 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. A welcomed feature of the facility is the 'flooded' benches, which has actual ice as opposed to fiber glass. Having an 'ice' bench allows player to enter and exit the benches in a smoother fashion.

LOCKER ROOM SETUP
Team USA's equipment manager Joel Isaacson (Houghton, Mich.) and athletic trainer Mike Cortese (Boynton Beach, Fla.) arrived earlier in the day to set up the U.S. locker room. A full time-lapse of the event can be seen below.
