TODAY’S SCHEDULE
It is the last non-game day of the 2017 World Junior Summer Showcase. The U.S. is having an off day and Canada is conducting an off-ice activation session while Finland and Sweden will both skate. 

TOMORROW’S GAMES
Tomorrow (Fri., Aug. 4) will see all four teams return to action, beginning with Sweden facing Canada at 1 p.m.  ET. That tilt will be followed by Finland facing the U.S. at 4 p.m. ET. Tickets are still available and both games will be televised live on NHL Network (U.S.) and TSN (Canada).

YESTERDAY’S GAME: USA 3, Sweden 2
Three different U.S. players scored and both Logan Brown (St. Louis, Mo.) and Casey Mittelstadt (Eden Prairie, Minn.) had multi-point games for the second-straight night as Team USA earned a 3-2 victory over Sweden.
    Riley Tufte (Ham Lake, Minn.) and Kailer Yamamoto (Spokane, Wash.) each scored and Quinn Hughes (Orlando, Fla.) accounted for the game-winning tally while Lias Andersson netted a pair of goals for Sweden.

YESTERDAY’S GAME: CANADA 6, Finland 5
Michael McLeod tallied 2:39 into overtime as Canada defeated Finland, 6-5, in a back-and-forth affair. 
    The lead changed four times, as Finland opened the scoring before Canada grabbed a 2-1 lead late in the first period. In the middle frame, three unanswered tallies (Otto Koivula, Robin Salo, Jere Innala) staked Finland a 4-2 lead entering the second intermission.
    Then, in the final six minutes of the third stanza, Canada tallied three unanswered goals (Matthew Phillips, Cliff Pu, Matthew Phillips) of its own to take a 5-4 lead before Finland (Janne Kuokkanen) responded with :28 remaining to force overtime. There, Canada netted the game-winner in a thrilling 3-on-3 period of extra time.
