Players and staff from the 2018 U.S. Under-18 Women’s National Team are ringing in the new year here in Wesley Chapel, Florida, as the team continues to train ahead of the 2018 International Ice Hockey Federation Women’s World Championship in Dmitrov, Russia

Team USA had a recovery morning before donning the red, white and blue for a scrimmage against a local boys team at Florida Hospital Center Ice.

Forward Abbey Murphy (Evergreen Park, Ill.) is making her world championship debut at next week’s 2018 IIHF Under-18 Women’s World Championship in Dmitrov. Murphy, a University of Minnesota commit, netted a pair of goals at the 2017 Under-18 Series vs. Canada last August in Lake Placid, New York.
