HAPPY NEW YEAR
Happy New Year from Wesley Chapel, Florida, as Team USA has its final training day in The Sunshine State ahead of tomorrow’s travel day for Dmitrov, Russia. The U.S. skated from 9-10:30 a.m. and returned to the ice from 5-6:15 p.m. for its last practice at Florida Hospital Center Ice. 

2018 OLYMPIC & PARALYMPIC TEAMS ANNOUNCED
Between on-ice sessions today, players and staff watched the 2018 NHL Winter Classic between the Rangers and Sabres at Citi Field, where the 2018 U.S. Olympic Men’s, Women’s and Paralympic Ice Hockey Teams were announced during the second intermission. VETERAN TRIO
Forward Taylor Heise (Lake City, Minn.) and defenders Gracie Ostertag (Shakopee, Minn.) and Madeline Wethington (Edina, Minn.) are set to compete in their third straight IIHF Under-18 Women’s World Championship after winning gold in both 2016 (St. Catharines, Ontario) and 2017 (Zlin & Prerov, Czech Republic). We caught up with all three members of Team USA to get their thoughts on what it’s like wearing the red, white and blue.
