TRAVEL DAY
It’s a travel day for players and staff from the 2018 U.S. Under-18 Women’s National Team as it heads for Dmitrov, Russia, the site of the 2018 International Ice Hockey Federation Women’s World Championship.

The team will pack its belongings and bus 30 minutes south to Tampa International Airport before flying to John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City. Team USA will have dinner at JFK before its final 9.5 hour flight to Sheremetyevo International Airport in Moscow, Russia, where it is expected to land at 12:30 p.m. local time on Jan. 3.

TAKE FIVE: Casey O'Brien
Forward Casey O'Brien (Milton, Mass.) is making her world-championship debut this week in Russia. The former USA Hockey 14U Tier I National Championship collected a goal and an assist at last August's Under-18 Series vs. Canada.
