TEAM TRIP TO MOSCOW
Players and staff from the U.S. Under-18 Women’s National Team took advantage of the extra day off, earned with Team USA’s 6-2 win over Canada yesterday that secured a bye to Friday’s semifinals, to travel an hour and a half south to Moscow to explore the Russian capital. 

The team bus arrived at approximately 12:45 p.m. at St. Basil’s Cathedral in the Red Square, where the group took a photo before splitting off with friends and family to explore the city and eat dinner. Team USA returns to the ice for practice tomorrow in preparation for its semifinal matchup vs. Canada Friday (Jan. 12) at 3:30 p.m. local time/7:30 a.m. ET.
