Forwards Kendall Coyne, Brianna Decker and Amanda Kessel are each set for their second Olympic experience in South Korea. In college, all three players won the Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award as the top women's college hockey player (Coyne: 2016 - Northeastern, Kessel: 2013 - Minnesota, Decker: 2012 - Wisconsin).

Forward Kendall Coyne (Palos Heights, Ill.) is skating in her second Olympic Winter Games after winning a silver medal with Team USA at the Sochi 2014 Games. Coyne is a five-time IIHF Women’s World Champion in addition to helping the U.S. earn titles at five Four Nations Cups. She played collegiately at Northeastern University, where she earned the 2016 Patty Kazmaier Memorial award as the top player in women’s college hockey. Coyne ended her career as the Hockey East all-time leader in career points, career goals, single-season points, single-season goals, points per game and goals per game.

Brianna Decker (Dousman, Wis.) is another forward returning from the 2014 Olympic Winter Games, where she recorded two goals and four assists. Decker is a six-time world champion with Team USA and has helped the U.S. earn championships at six Four Nations Cups. Last April, Decker tied for a tournament-high 12 points (3-9) to be named the Most Valuable Player and Top Forward at the 2017 IIHF Women’s World Championship. She was named the 2012 Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award after leading the nation with 37 goals as a junior at the University of Wisconsin.

Forward Amanda Kessel (Madison, Wis.) is set for her second Olympic appearance after amassing six points (3-3) in five games for Team USA in Sochi, Russia. Kessel competed in her first IIHF event since 2013 at the IIHF Women’s World Championship last April in Plymouth, Michigan, collecting a goal and five assists at the event. The 2013 Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award winner, Kessel helped the University of Minnesota earn NCAA National Championships in 2012, 2013 and 2016. She was also named the 2013 WCHA Player of the Year after leading the nation with 101 points (46-55).
