The U.S. held its third practice this afternoon at Gangneung Hockey Centre. Following the skate and media availability, the team took its charter bus across town to Kwangdong Hockey Centre to cheer on the U.S. Olympic Women’s Ice Hockey Team, which came away with a 3-1 victory over Finland in its first game. Dinner followed back near the Athlete Village.
Following dinner, Chad Billins and Garrett Roe were seen engaging in a ping pong match. Billins appeared to have the upper hand against a feisty Roe.
The U.S. is back on the ice tomorrow at 10:45 a.m. local time as it continues preparation for its first game on Feb. 14 against Slovenia.
