- Played his first season with the Plymouth Whalers of the Ontario Hockey League
- Led Whalers defensemen with 12 goals; second among defense corps in assists (32) and points (44)

2011-12
- Played for the U.S. National Under-18 Team, part of USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program, that competed in the United States Hockey League and against Division I and Division III college opponents and international teams
- Tied for second on the team in goals by a defenseman (8)
2010-11
- Skated with the U.S. National Under-17 Team, part of USA Hockey’s NTDP, that competed in the USHL and against international teams.
- Tallied 20 points (4-16), which ranked second among the team’s defensemen.
