The U.S. Olympic Men’s Ice Hockey Team takes on the Czech Republic in the quarterfinal round of the XXII Olympic Winter Games today at Noon ET. The game will be broadcast live on USA Network. A live stream is also available via NBC Sports Live Extra.

Team USA has played the Czechs on two previous occasions at the Olympic Winter Games and is 0-0-0-2 (W-OTW-OTL-L). The most recent meeting between the two squads came at the 1998 Olympic Winter Games in Nagano, Japan, where the Czech Republic emerged victorious, 4-1.

Overall, including the Olympic Winter Games and IIHF Men's World Championship, the United States is 4-1-1-7-1 (W-OTW-OTL-L-T) against the Czech Republic. The last time the two countries met in either tournament was May 11, 2011 in the 2011 IIHF Men's World Championship. The Czechs won that contest, 4-0.

A win today would advance the U.S. Olympic Men's Ice Hockey Team to the semifinals on Friday, where it would meet the winner of Canada and Latvia.
