Team Green opened the third day of the USA Hockey Girls Under-18 Player Development camp with a 3-2 victory over Team Green. Team Black earned a 2-0 lead at the first intermission with goals by Katelyn Holmes and Jillian Fey. Team Green rallied in the second period with three goals by Madison Tregenza, Ciara Barone and Madison Doucette.

Team Gold skated to a 1-0 victory over Team Pink. The lone goal was scored by Mckenzie Hauswirth early in the opening period.  Team Pink’s goalie tandem of Amanda Aalto and Calla Frank combined to make 26 saves. Team Gold’s goalie duo of Alexis Baker and Aerin Frankel made 14 saves in the shutout victory.

Team Grey had a dominating performance over Team Royal with a 6-0 victory. Jillian Parsons led Team Grey with two goals, including the opening marker just 1:42 into the first period. Alexa Dobchuk and Camryn Kronish combined for 12 saves in the game for Team Grey.

Light Blue secured a 6-3 victory over the Purple team in the fourth game of the day. Purple jumped to a 3-0 lead with goals by Carolina Bowlby, Charlotte Welch and Sommer Ross in the first period. Hayley Lunny got Light Blue on the board with just 18 seconds left in the first period to start the comeback. Light Blue added goals by Naomi Rogge (2), Angelica Melone, Lunny and Tina Paolillo to bring the final to 6-3.

In the final game of the day, Team Red earned a 5-0 victory over Team White. Emily King had both the GWG and the first goal for her team at 7:29 of the first period. The other goals for Team Red were charted by Alison Rodgers, Anna Wilgren, Maddie Posick and Tessa Ward. In the nets, Team Red’s duo of Courtney DeNaut and Kelly Pickreign combined for 11 saves and the shutout.

In the final day of camp play on July 15, Team Red will play Team Black and Team Pink will play Team Purple in the American Division bracket.  In the National Division bracket, Team Green will battle Team Light Blue and Team Gray will play Team Gold.  The two winners will play for their respective division titles, while the two losing squads will meet in the consolation game.
