COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- USA Hockey will stage a press conference Friday (Oct. 28) at 4 p.m ET (live on NHL Network) in the pavilion of the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York, to reveal significant developments related to the 2018 International Ice Hockey Federation World Junior Championship.
The press conference is expected to include remarks from Terry and Kim Pegula, owners, Buffalo Sabres; Dave Ogrean, executive director, USA Hockey; Russ Brandon, president, Buffalo Sabres; Jim Johannson, asst. executive director of hockey operations, USA Hockey; Mike Gilbert, vice president of administration, Buffalo Sabres and chair of the 2018 IIHF World Junior Championship host organizing committee; and Sabres players Jack Eichel and Sam Reinhart.
The 2018 IIHF World Junior Championship will be held Dec. 26, 2017 – Jan. 5, 2018.
