U.S. Falls to Lindenwood, 3-0, in Exhibition

WENTZVILLE, Mo.  – The U.S. Women’s National University Team fell to Lindenwood University, 3-0, in an exhibition game here tonight at Lindenwood Ice Arena ahead of the 2017 Winter World University Games, which are set for Jan. 29-Feb. 8 in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

Lauren Allen (Gregory, Mich./Grand Valley State University), Amber Greene (Feeding Hills, Mass./University of Massachusetts) and Hannah Johnson (Franklin, Mich./Michigan State University) combined to make 46 saves for Team USA.

NOTES: The U.S. Women’s National University Team is comprised of players from the American Collegiate Hockey Association … The final roster for the 2017 U.S. Women’s National University Team is expected to be announced next week … Shelley Looney (Brownstown, Mich.) is the head coach of the 2017 U.S. Women’s National University Team. Brett Berger (Springfield, N.J.) and Scott Hicks (Richmond, Ind.) are the assistant coaches.
