COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - USA Hockey announced today that NHL Network will televise every Team USA contest at the 2017 International Ice Hockey Federation Under-18 Men's World Championship that begins Thursday (April 13) in Poprad and Spišská Nová Ves, Slovakia.
The tournament, which runs through April 23, features 10 nations. Team USA, which has earned gold in six of the last eight world championships (2009, 20010, 2011, 2012, 2014, 2015), opens play against Belarus on Thursday (April 13).
NHL Network will also televise other select preliminary round games as well as two quarterfinals, two semifinals and both the bronze and gold-medal games.
