Gaudreau will be playing on his second U.S. Men’s National Team and representing Team USA for the third time in IIHF world-championship play. He most recently netted two goals and added eight assists in eight games for the U.S. at the 2014 IIHF Men’s World Championship in Minsk, Belarus. He also won gold as a member of the U.S. National Junior Team at the 2013 IIHF World Junior Championship in Ufa, Russia, where he was named to the tournament all-star team after notching nine points (7-2) in seven games for Team USA.

A 2016-17 NHL All-Star, Gaudreau just finished his third full season as a member of the Calgary Flames, and has amassed 204 points (73-131) in 232 career NHL contests. Before joining Calgary, he played three seasons (2011-14) with Boston College. Gaudreau's collegiate career was highlighted by a 2013-14 campaign in which he led the nation with 80 points (36-44) en route to winning the Hobey Baker Memorial Award as the nation’s top player.
