The U.S. National Junior Team finished with a 1-6-0 (W-L-T) and a seventh place finish at the 1990 International Ice Hockey Federation World Junior Championship in Helsinki and Turku, Finland.
Team USA was captained by Barry Richter. Future U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame members on the squad included Tony Amonte (2009 inductee) and Bill Guerin (2013 inductee).
