Ray Rarile - Athletic Trainer

Bio

Ray Barile, who will enter his 22nd season as head athletic trainer for the St. Louis Blues in 2016-17, will serve as an athletic trainer for Team USA at the 2016 World Cup of Hockey.

Barile most recently served the U.S. Men’s National Team as an athletic trainer at the 2011 International Ice Hockey Federation Men’s World Championship in Bratislava and Kosice, Slovakia.

He also worked in the same capacity for the U.S. Olympic Men's Ice Hockey Team at the 1998 and 2002 Olympic Winter Games in Nagano, Japan, and Salt Lake City, Utah, in addition to the 2006 IIHF Men's World Championship in Riga, Latvia, and 1993 IIHF Men's World Championship in Munich and Dortmund, Germany. 

Barile has served as Team USA’s athletic trainer for several other international tournaments, including the 1995 IIHF World Junior Championships in Red Deer, Alta.; the 1994 IIHF World Junior Championship in Ostrava and Frydek-Mistek, Czech Republic; the 1994 U.S. Olympic Festival in St. Louis, Mo.; and the 1997 Winter World University Games in Sicily.

Prior to joining the Blues organization, Barile was the assistant athletic trainer at Cornell University, working primarily with the Big Red ice hockey and football teams.
