Kris Nolt

Kris Nolt recently completed his second season with USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program as the communications manager and and will serve as the Team USA media contact at the 2018 IIHF Under-18 Men's World Championship.

Nolt previously served as the communications manager for the 2017 U.S. Men’s National Under-18 Team that captured a gold medal at the 2017 IIHF Under-18 Men’s World Championship.

At the NTDP and USA Hockey Arena, his responsibilities includes overseeing all communications efforts, including media relations as well as serving as the primary media contact for both the U.S. National Under-17 and Under-18 Teams.

Prior to joining the NTDP, Nolt served two years as the  public relations and marketing manager at Lancaster (Pa.) Catholic High School where he was responsible for developing marketing and communication strategies for prospective and current students and parents, donors and alumni.

He also was a communications and marketing consultant, providing freelance services in the areas of website design, graphic design and social media campaign management.

Prior to his arrival at Lancaster Catholic, Nolt served as a sports information assistant at Union College, where he was a secondary media contact for the 2014 NCAA Division I men's ice hockey national championship team and managed all social media activities. In addition, he served as the primary media contact for 12 NCAA Division III teams at Union. Nolt also spent a year as a media relations intern with the Robert Morris University athletic media relations department.

A 2013 graduate of Slippery Rock (Pa.) University, Nolt earned his bachelor’s degree in sport management.
