2018 IIHF Under-18 Women's World Championship

The U.S. Under-18 Women's National Team captured an unprecedented fourth consecutive gold medal at the 2018 International Ice Hockey Federation Under-18 Women's World Championship in Dmitrov, Russia.

Team USA earned the top seed from Group A after topping Sweden in overtime, 2-1, Russia 5-3 and Canada, 6-2. In the semifinal round, the U.S. rallied from a two-goal deficit in the final period to top Canada in a shootout, 4-3. In a rematch against Sweden for gold, Team USA scored six goals in the second period en route to a 9-3 victory. 

Gracie Ostertag (Shakopee, Minn.) was named Best Defenseman and Taylor Heise (Lake City, Minn.) was named Best Forward. In addition, Heise and Makenna Webster (St. Louis, Mo.) were selected to the Tournament Media All-Star Team while Heise was also named Tournament MVP.
