The U.S. Under-17 Select Team chooses players from the Boys' Select 16 Player Development Camp that provides participants with elite instruction, as well as the opportunity to compete at the national level against other players in their age group.

The 2017 Under-17 Five Nations Tournament took place in Ostrava, Czech Republic, from August 23-27, with the U.S. earning five consecutive victories en route to its third straight U17 Five Nations crown.
