2011 IIHF World Junior Championship | Buffalo/Niagara

The United States hosted the International Ice Hockey Federation World Junior Championship for the fifth time when the 2011 event took place at the HSBC Arena in Buffalo, New York, and Niagara University's Dwyer Arena in Lewiston, New York.

Team USA, captained by John Ramage, earned the bronze medal with a 4-2 victory over Sweden. Goaltender Jack Campbell led the tournament in goals against average (1.70) and save percentage (.940%) to be named Best Goaltender by the directorate and chosen to the tournament's All-Star team.
