Team USA won two of four preliminary round games, before defeating Canada West in the semifinal to advance to the championship game. The U.S. went on to top Russia, 2-0, in the title game to take home its fifth championship in the last seven years.
Team USA competed alongside Canada East, Canada West, Czech Republic and Russia.
