2021 IIHF Under-18 Men's World Championship

Frisco and Plano, Texas | April 26-May 6

The 2021 IIHF Under-18 Men's World Championship is scheduled to take place in Frisco and Plano, Texas from April 26-May 26, 2021.

The primary venue for the tournament will be Comerica Center in Frisco, Texas. It will host Group B for preliminary round play, which includes the U.S., Russia, Czech Republic, Finland and Germany. Comerica Center will also host two quarterfinal games, both semifinal contests, along with the bronze and gold-medal games. Group A preliminary round play, which includes Sweden, Canada, Belarus, Latvia and Switzerland, will be staged at the Children’s Health StarCenter in Plano, Texas. Most recently, the U.S. Under-18 Men’s National Team went 6-0-1-0 (W-OTW-OTL-L) in the 2019 tournament in Ornskoldsvik and Umea, Sweden, and earned a bronze medal to extend its unprecedented medal streak in tournament play to 16 straight IIHF Under-18 Men’s World Championships.

The 2020 tournament was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
