Brian Galivan will serve as an assistant coach for the second consecutive season for Team USA at the 2022 IIHF Under-18 Men's World Championship. He is in his third year as the director of sports science at USA Hockey's National Team Development Program.
Galivan is a world-renowned sports performance specialist who has had the privilege to work with elite athletes around the world. Brian is the founder of GVN Performance and Revitalab Chicago. His clients have participated in the Olympics, World Juniors and all major sports leagues across the United States and Europe.
As a high-performance specialist, Galivan works with athletes and clients on strength and conditioning, injury rehabilitation and recovery, as well as athletic monitoring and testing. He is committed to working with his clients to reach optimal performance and understands the biomechanics, physical and emotional demands of athletes. His compassion and ability to mentor in both the gym and in life has allowed GVN performance to grow to much more than just a training facility.
