Forty-five U.S. players took part in the 2023 World Junior Summer Showcase set for July 27-Aug. 4 at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Michigan.
The Showcase, which also included teams from Finland and Sweden, served as an evaluation for athletes seeking to make their respective national teams for the 2024 International Ice Hockey Federation World Junior Championship Dec. 26, 2023, through Jan. 5, 2024 in Gothenburg, Sweden.
The Showcase included eight games. Team USA players were split into two squads for the event and competed against teams from Finland and Sweden.
