Dr. Jack Nickless (Chicago, Ill.) is serving as the team physician for the U.S. Under-18 Men’s Select Team for the first time at the 2023-24 Hlinka Gretzky Cup. 

The Chicago, Ill., native currently serves as a sports medicine physician at Rush University Medical Center, as well as part of the Rush University faculty. His previous experience includes a fellowship at Rush University, where he served as team physician for the MLB’s Chicago White Sox, the Chicago White Sox, the NBA’s Chicago Bulls, the Chicago Fire of the MLS, DePaul University athletics, the USHL’s Chicago Steel, and local high school teams. 

Nickless attended the Loyola University Chicago for his undergrad training, where he was also a member of the men’s ice hockey team.
