Nick Hart, current head athletic trainer for the USHL's Omaha Lancers, will serve as the athletic trainer for the U.S. Junior Select Team at the 2024 World Junior A Challenge in Camrose, Alberta.
This year marks Hart's second year on staff for the World Junior A Challenge. He served in the same capacity for the 2023 team that took third in Truro, Nova Scotia. Prior to his second World Junior A Challenge, Hart worked as an athletic trainer for the U.S. Under-18 Men's Select Team at the 2024 Hlinka Gretzky Cup.
Hart has held his current role of head athletic trainer for the Omaha Lancers since 2019. Prior to joining the Lancers, Hart spent three seasons as the head athletic trainer for fellow USHL program, the Dubuque Fighting Saints. He also spent two years as an assistant athletic trainer at Elmira College.
The Lincoln, Neb., native is currently the head athletic trainer for the USHL’s Omaha Lancers, a position he has held since 2019. Prior to joining Omaha, Hart spent three years (2016-19) as the head athletic trainer for the Dubuque Fighting Saints in the USHL. His experience also includes a two-year (2014-16) stint as an assistant athletic trainer at Elmira College.
Hart graduated from the University of Nebraska Omaha with a degree in athletic training in 2014. He then attended and graduated from Elmira College with a Master of Science in education in 2016.
