The USA Hockey Boys National 17 Festival takes place July 7-13, 2025, at The Northtown Center at Amherst in Amherst, New York. This camp is comprised of male players who are registered USA Hockey players (2024-25) and born in the year 2008. 

For the first time, Boys 17 Festival will be held following Boys 16 Camp to better accommodate professional and amateur scouting. 

The Boys National 17 Festival is a District team-based tournament format, but the priority is still to improve and showcase the players participating. Players will experience a competitive, age-specific environment with on-ice training (drills, small area games, competitions, etc.) and off-ice training (strength & conditioning, team building, mental skills, nutrition, classroom, etc.).

Players from the USA Hockey Boys 17 Festival will be evaluated and chosen to attend the Hlinka Gretzky Cup Camp. Those chosen from the Hlinka Camp will play for the 2025 U.S. Under-18 Select Team during the Hlinka Gretzky Cup.

Total Sports Imaging (TSI) will be photographing the USA Hockey Boys Player Development Camps. You can click here to pre-order your action photos. The total cost is $75 per player, which allows you to download all photos without copyright restrictions for printing and sharing. 

After you place your order, TSI will provide you with instructions on how to access and download your photos. You will need to enter your player’s name, team, and jersey number on the ordering page.

USA Hockey Player Development Camp merchandise will be available for sale at all Player Development Camps. Prices for items (hats, T-shirts, sweatshirts, etc.) will vary based on the product.
