The 2021-22 U.S. National Sled Hockey Team represented the United States in international para ice hockey competitions throughout the 2021-22 season.
David Hoff (Bottineau, N.D.), USA Hockey's Northern Plains District Coach-In-Chief and assistant coach of the gold medal-winning 2018 U.S. Paralympic Sled Hockey Team, is in his fourth season as head coach of the U.S. National Sled Hockey Team.
The 2022 U.S. Paralympic Sled Hockey Team captured an unprecedented fourth-straight Paralympic gold medal by defeating Canada, 5-0. The U.S. finished a perfect 4-0-0-0 (W-OTW-OTL-L), topping Canada (5-0) and South Korea (9-1) in group play before defeating host China (11-0) in the semifinals.
Last season, the U.S. claimed its second-straight and fifth overall gold medal at the 2021 Para Ice Hockey World Championship in Ostrava, Czech Republic, finishing with a 4-0-0-1 (W-OTW-OTL-L) record. The 17-player roster included 14 returnees from the 2018-19 U.S. National Sled Hockey Team that claimed Team USA’s fourth gold medal in world championship history at the 2019 Para Ice Hockey World Championship in Ostrava, Czech Republic.
