Team USA at the Hlinka Gretzky Cup

Following the 2025 Hlinka Gretzky Cup, the U.S. Under-18 Men's Select Team has earned two championships and 15 all-time top-three finishes in tournament play.

Team USA's most recent championship win came at the 2025 Hlinka Gretzky Cup, when it finished with a record of 3-1-0-1 (W-OTW-OTL-L), defeating Sweden in the championship game to capture first place for the first time since 2003.

The competition began in 1991 and has had several names, including the Phoenix Cup (1991), Pacific Cup (1992-93, 1995-96), La Copa Mexico (1994), USA Hockey Festivals (1997-98), Four/Three Nations Tournament (1999-2001), Junior World Cup (2002-2005), Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament (2006-2017) and now, the Hlinka Gretzky Cup (2018-present).
