The U.S. Women's Development Sled Hockey Team competes in the Para Ice Hockey Women's World Challenge each fall, an annual international tournament between women's sled hockey teams from around the world.
The 2024 Women's World Challenge took place in Skien, Norway, Oct. 25-28. The U.S. was be joined by Canada, Great Britain, Team Europe, and Team Pacific. Team USA captured first place, going 4-0-0-0 (W-OTW-OTL-L) in the tournament and outscoring its opponents 27-0.
The U.S. finished first at the inaugural Women's World Challenge, which took place in 2022 in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Team USA repeated as champions in 2023 in Green Bay.
