World Sled Hockey Challenge

  • 2016 (Dec.): Appeared in three games, stopping six of seven shots. Earned a shutout in an 8-0 victory over Norway
  • 2016 (Jan.): Skated in two games, stopping all four shots he faced

U.S. Developmental Sled Hockey Team

  • 2015: Served as alternate captain. Posted a 3-1 record, 1.15 goals-against-average, .907 save percentage and one shutout.
  • 2014: First-Year member of the U.S. Developmental Team

Additional Notes

  • Enlisted in the Navy in March 2008 and was promoted to Navy SEAL in May of 2010. While deployed in Afghanistan in July 2012 he stepped on an improvised explosive device. Within 12 hours of the explosion, he was without his entire left leg and had his right leg amputated just below the knee. He also suffered structural damage to his right arm and suffered 40 percent hearing loss in one ear and 60 percent in the other

  • Introduced to sled hockey by U.S. National Sled Hockey Team teammate, Josh Misiewicz, while in Washington, D.C.
  • Three months after the explosion, he was on the ice stopping shots from players of the National Hockey League's Washington Capitals
  • Prior to enlisting in Navy, was a goaltender for the Thunder Bay Wolverines Junior A team.
  • He and his wife, Lacy, reside in Billings, Montana, with their son, Landon
