COLOGNE, Germany -- A group of players including Johnny Gaudreau, Jack Eichel, Connor Murphy, Dylan Larkin, Trevor van Riemsdyk, Anders Bjork, Daniel Brickley and Cal Peterson hit the ice for a brief morning skate in advance of the USA-Denmark contest here today at 4:15 p.m. local time (10:15 a.m. ET, live on NHL Network; live stream on NBC Sports app and NBCSports.com).

The U.S. looks to rebound from a tough 2-1 loss to host Germany, a game in which it outshot the hosts by a 43-27 count.

After a pre-game meal, the players will rest before departing for LANXESS Arena for the middle of three three games here today. The day starts with Italy facing Russia and will finish at 8:15 p.m. with the Latvia-Slovakia tilt.

NOTES: Dale Tallon, a member of the U.S. Men's National Team advisory group arrived this morning and is here with the team for the next eight days. Tallon is the general manager of the NHL's Florida Panthers ... The U.S. will play again tomorrow against Sweden at 8:15 p.m. local time/2:15 p.m. ET.
