COLOGNE, Germany – The U.S. had an optional skate this morning at 10:15 a.m. at LANXESS Arena and a handful of players hit the ice and a few others used the training facilities at the arena.

After the half-hour workout, the players returned to the hotel for a pre-game meal and some rest.

The U.S. looks for its seventh straight win and a berth in the quarterfinals here today against Finland. Opening faceoff is set for 4:15 p.m. local time (10:15 a.m. ET) and the game can be seen live in the U.S. on NBCSN (live stream on the NBC Sports app and at NBCSports.com).
