Paralympic Winter Games

Has skated in three Paralympic Winter Games, helping the U.S. claim a trio of gold medals (2014, 2018, 2022)

2022 - Beijing, China - Gold Medal

  • Served as an alternate captain for Team USA
  • Led the tournament with 18 total points (7g, 11a) in four appearances
  • Became the all-time record leader in career goals, assists and points for the U.S. at the Paralympics
  • Scored two goals, including the game-winner, to help Team USA defeat Canada 5-0 in the gold-medal game 

2018 - PyeongChang, South Korea - Gold Medal 

  • Registered 17 points, including 11 goals and six assists, in five games
    • Tied a U.S. and Paralympic record for most goals in a single Paralympic Winter Games
    • Tied with Roybal for the U.S. and tournament lead in points
  • In the gold-medal game against Canada, scored the tying goal with 37 seconds remaining in regulation before tallying the game-winning goal 3:30 into overtime

2014 - Sochi, Russia - Gold Medal

  • Tied for team lead in both goals (3) and points (5)
  • Voted Best Male Athlete by the International Paralympic Committee

World Championships

Has skated in four world championships, claiming two golds (2019, 2015) and a pair of silver medals (2013, 2017)

2023 - Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan - Gold Medal

  • Collected 10 points (9g, 1a) in five games
  • Named Tournament MVP and Best Forward

2021 - Ostrava, Czech Republic - Gold Medal

  • Recorded seven points (3g, 4a) in five games played
  • Named U.S. Player of the Game in the gold-medal game against Canada, scoring two goals and adding an assist 

2019 - Ostrava, Czech Republic - Gold Medal

  • Registered a tournament-best 14 points (7-7) through five games
    • Also led the tournament in plus-minus (+17) and faceoff efficiency (72.6%)
  • In the gold-medal game, tallied the game-tying goal with 3:26 to play in regulation and made the primary assist on the overtime game-winning goal
  • Named U.S. Player of the Game in the gold-medal game
  • Named Best Forward by the Directorate

  • Named U.S. Player of the Game in championship game, a 2-1 overtime victory over Canada
