Meghan Duggan

Forward Meghan Duggan (Danvers, Mass.) is captaining the U.S. Olympic Women's Ice Hockey Team for the second time after serving as team captain for the silver medal-winning 2014 U.S. squad in Sochi, Russia. Duggan, also a silver medalist at the 2010 Olympic Games, has played in eight International Ice Hockey Federation Women's World Championships, earning gold in 2008, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2015, 2016 and 2017.

Pushing around two stacked milk crates on the ice at age three, learning to skate for the first time within the Danvers Youth Hockey learn to skate program.

Favorite Olympic Memory
When her parents let her stay up late to watch the U.S. women win the gold medal vs. Canada in 1998.

An Ideal Off-Day Would Be...
Waking up to the sun instead of an alarm, coffee and catching up on the news, walking out for breakfast or cooking at home, being outside, riding her bike, writing, listening to music and spending time with family.
