The U.S. Olympic Men’s Ice Hockey Team marched in the Opening Ceremony last night and the reviews were nothing but positive from the players. Forward Chad Kolarik, with a beaming smile, described the night as “UNBELIEVEABLE!.” It was the first time since 1994 that a U.S. Olympic Men’s Ice Hockey Team had the chance to march in the Opening Ceremony.

Team USA took part in the Olympic Ambassador program this morning and had a 4 o’clock practice on the main ice surface of the Gangneung Hockey Centre.

Prior to practice the players/staff took their official Olympic headshots. And just at the outset of practice, the team picture was taken as well as several group shots.

Following practice, the Yale Connection – including assistant coach Keith Allain and players Marc Arcobello, Broc Little and Brian O’Neill – filmed an interview with Anne Thompson from NBC Nightly News that is slated to air on Feb. 16. Among many topics, Arcobello shared with Thompson the jello mold is his favorite part of the Thanksgiving meal. Tune in on Feb. 16 for the full scoop.

Many of the players intended to attend speed skating tonight.

Team USA is back on the ice tomorrow at 2 p.m. for its third practice session.
