The U.S. women enjoyed another off-day in preparation for their big night marching in the Parade of Nations at the Opening Ceremony. Though, a few players found some time to get away from the Village and got to check out figure skating at the Gangneung Ice Arena where they were able to cheer on some of their U.S. teammates.

LET THE GAMES BEGIN
The torch was officially lit this evening, marking the opening of the Olympic Winter Games PyeongChang 2018. All 23 of the women’s team players geared up in their Ralph Lauren self-heating jackets and boarded the busses to the PyeongChang Olympic Stadium for an unforgettable experience.

“Opening Ceremony was a breathtaking experience. I felt so much joy walking out as I was surrounded by so many amazing athletes and representing an amazing country. It is such a humbling moment and amazing to see the world come together through sport. I am beyond proud to be American. It is a night I will never forget.” – Cayla Barnes (Eastvale, Calif.)
