Josh Pauls

Defender Josh Pauls (Green Brook, N.J.) is set to captain Team USA after helping the U.S. earn gold medals at the 2014 and 2010 Paralympic Winter Games. Pauls has played in four IPC Sled Hockey World Championships, guiding Team USA to world titles in 2015, 2012 and 2009. He also earned titles at the World Sled Hockey Challenge in 2009, 2012, 2015, 2016 (Jan. & Dec.) and 2017. Commonly known as “Spuds”, Pauls has been playing club hockey with the DASA St. Louis Blues since 2011, and helped the club win the 2013 USA Hockey Adult Sled National Championship.
