March 14: Day 11

The 2018 U.S. Paralympic Sled Hockey Team enjoyed the day off around the Village that included some attending media availability at the Main Press Center before attending a team dinner in downtown PyeongChang.

TEAM USA ENJOYS KOREAN BBQ
For dinner, the 2018 U.S. Paralympic Sled Hockey Team traveled to downtown PyeongChang for a team dinner at a local Korean BBQ restaurant. Coordinating the dinner was USA Hockey President, Jim Smith, and USA Hockey Disabled Section Chairperson, JJ O'Connor. 

STAYING BUSY IN THE PARALYMPIC VILLAGE
During Team USA's down time here in the PyeongChang Paralympic Village, the U.S. players have interacted with fellow U.S. athletes in Team USA's athlete lounge, ventured to one of the Recreation Center's here on complex for pool, ping pong or foosball, or spent time playing video games. In the Welcome Center, there is a hockey goaltender challenge that the U.S. Paralympic Sled Hockey Team took turns playing before its departure for dinner. 

U.S. PLAYERS LEADING THE TOURNAMENT
Team USA has a trio of players atop the tournament standings. Alternate captain Declan Farmer (Tampa, Fla.) has a tournament-best 13 points while his eight goals is tied with teammate Brody Roybal (Northlake, Ill.) for first among all skaters. In goal, Steve Cash(Overland, Mo.) leads all netminders with two shutout wins. 

LOOK AHEAD: SEMIFINAL VS. ITALY TOMORROW (MARCH 15)
The 2018 U.S. Paralympic Sled Hockey Team returns to action tomorrow, when it meets Italy in the semifinal round of the PyeongChang 2018 Paralympic Winter Games. The winner will advance to the gold-medal game, where it will face the winner of the Canada-Korea semifinal. Puck drop is set for 8 p.m. local time (7 a.m. ET) at Gangneung Hockey Center and will be streaming live on NBCOlympics.com, in addition to being televised on NBCSN on a tape-delayed broadcast that begins at 2 p.m. ET.
