PRACTICE DAY

After starting the 2018 IIHF Under-18 Men's World Championship with back-to-back matchups with Canada and Switzerland, the U.S. Under-18 Men's National Team enjoyed a day off on Saturday to recover and prepare for its matchup with Sweden on Sunday. The team held a 30 minute practice in the morning before returning to the team hotel for meals, meetings and much needed rest. 

NHL DRAFT ELIGIBILITY

All but six players on the U.S. Under-18 Men's National Team are eligible for the 2018 NHL Draft that will take place June 22-23 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.

Those eligible for the 2019 NHL Draft that will take place June 21–22, 2019 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada including late 2000 birth year forward Trevor Janicke (Maple Grove, Minn./USAH NTDP), and 2001 birth year forwards  Cole Caufield (Stevens Point, Wis./USAH NTDP), Jack Hughes (Orlando, Fla./USAH NTDP) and Alex Turcotte (Island Lake, Ill./USAH NTDP), 2001 birth year defenseman Cam York (Anaheim Hills, Calif./USAH NTDP) and 2001 birth year goaltender Spencer Knight (Darien, Conn./USAH NTDP).
