Today was Team USA's first day at Jyske Bank Boxen, the official arena of the 2018 IIHF Men's World Championship's Group B games here in Herning, Denmark. After taking headshots and broadcast-related video animations, Team USA hit the facilities ice with excitement ahead of tomorrow's tournament-opening game against Canada.

As in previous years, the IIHF Men's World Championship includes players and head coaches to take part not only in tournament headshots, but also in animated green-screen video graphics for broadcasts. Some fun photos can be seen below.

Given the location of the team locker rooms, each team's respective goaltenders have the ability to be escorted to the ice via a golf cart.
ROSTER SPOTLIGHT: WINNING INTERNATIONAL PEDIGREES
Fourteen U.S. players have skated for a U.S. national team previously and have combined to win 24 medals in IIHF World Championship play.
Among the medalists are 10 IIHF gold medalists, including defensemen Will Butcher (2012 MU18), Quinn Hughes (2017 MU18) and Connor Murphy (2013 WJC, 2011 MU18) and forwards Johnny Gaudreau (2013 WJC), Patrick Kane (2006 MU18), Chris Kreider (2010 WJC), Dylan Larkin (2014 MU18), Sonny Milano (2014 MU18), Tage Thompson (2017 WJC) and Colin White (2017 WJC, 2015 MU18).
LOOK AHEAD: U.S. MEETS CANADA TOMORROW TO OPEN 2018 MWC
Tomorrow, the 2018 U.S. Men’s National Team will open play at the 2018 IIHF Men’s World Championship against Canada here in Herning, Denmark. Puck drop at Jyske Bank Boxen is set for 4:15 p.m. local time (10:15 a.m. ET) and will be televised live in the U.S. exclusively on NHL Network.
