The U.S. meets Canada here in Kamloops on the final day of the 2018 World Junior Summer Showcase. Puck drop is slated for 2 p.m. local time (5 p.m. ET) and will be televised live in the United States on NHL Network.

SUMMING UP THE WEEK
Through six games, the U.S. holds an overall record of 5-1. After opening the camp by splitting its first day of games with a win over Finland and a loss to Sweden, the U.S. claimed both of the split-squad games over Canada the following day before edging Sweden and Finland in back-to-back one-goal games. 

ROSTER TIDBIT: PLAYER CONNECTIONS TO VANBIESBROUCK
A number of players representing the United States have encountered former American stars that once skated alongside U.S. general manager John Vanbiesbrouck. U.S. forward Brady Tkachuk (St. Louis, Mo.) is the son of U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame inductee Keith Tkachuk, who skated with Vanbiesbrouck on the 1998 U.S. Olympic Men's Ice Hockey Team. Joining them on that Olympic team was fellow U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame inductee Tony Amonte, who coached U.S. forward Jay O'Brien (Hingham, Mass.) in youth hockey as well as at Thayer Academy (NY). Additionally, prior to joining USA Hockey full-time in June, Vanbiesbrouck was the general manager of the USHL's Muskegon Lumberjacks where U.S. netminder Keith Petruzzelli (Wilbraham, Mass.) played in 2016-17, eventually earning USA Hockey's Dave Peterson Goaltender of the Year award.

CAMP TIDBIT: SCORING SPREAD
Entering the final day of camp here in Kamloops, 21 of the 29 players remaining have tallied at least one point through the six U.S. games. Josh Norris (Oxford, Mich.) has a U.S.-best five points (2-3) and shares the lead in goals with Sasha Chmelevski (Northville, Mich.), Paul Cotter (Canton, Mich.), Jack Drury (Winnetka, Ill.), Joel Farabee (Cicero, N.Y.), Grant Mismash (Edina, Minn.) and Jason Robertson (Northville, Mich.). Norris is also in a three-way tie with Matt Anderson (Shakopee, Minn.) and Quinn Hughes (Orlando, Fla.) for most assists with three apiece.
