Day 5 - December 3

MORNING PREP
After an 8:30am team breakfast at the hotel, Team USA will head over to the rink for a morning skate. Following its skate, the team will return to the hotel for lunch and preparations ahead of its tournament-opening tilt. Team USA's lines will be unveiled an hour before puck drop.

PARALYMPIC GOLD MEDAL REMATCH
Tonight's game was a rematch of the gold-medal game at the 2018 Paralympic Winter Games in which the U.S. came from behind in dramatic fashion to capture the Paralympic gold medal with a 2-1 overtime win. Alternate captain Declan Farmer (Tampa, Fla.) scored the game-tying goal with 37.8 seconds left in regulation and tallied the golden goal 3:30 into overtime.

THE SERIES VS. CANADA
Since 2008, the North American rivals have accounted for the last 10 Paralympic and World Championship gold medals. The U.S. has claimed three Paralympic gold medals (2010, 2014, 2018) and three world championships (2009, 2012, 2015) while Canada has collected one Paralympic gold medal (2006) and three world championships (2008, 2013, 2017).
Of those 10 collective gold medals, the U.S. and Canada have met in four of the last five gold-medal games. The two teams have split the meetings, with the U.S. earning a Paralympic (2018) and world championship (2015) gold medal while Canada has won two world championship gold medals (2013, 2017).
