Day 7 - December 5

The U.S. enters today's off-day with a perfect 2-0-0-0 (W-OTW-OTL-L) record. The team got together for a group lunch and will visit a nearby restaurant for a team dinner. 

LAST GAME: USA 9, KOR 0
Luke McDermott (Westerlo, N.Y.) scored two goals and eight other U.S. players registered at least one point as the U.S. defeated South Korea, 9-0, in its second game of the 2018 Para Hockey Cup. For complete game recap, click here.

TEAM EFFORT
Through two games, 10 different U.S. players have tallied at least one point. Leading the way is alternate captain Declan Farmer (Tampa, Fla.) with four points (2-2). He is followed by three players who each have three points in Brody Roybal (Northlake, Ill.), alternate captain Rico Roman (Portland, Ore.) and Kyle Zych (South Hadley, Mass.).

DID YOU KNOW?
U.S. head coach David Hoff (Bottineau, N.D.) was at one point a coach for current U.S. assistant coach Corey Gorder (Bottineau, N.D.). The two crossed paths early in Hoff's coaching career and are now making their debut as a coaching staff. 

LOOKING AHEAD: CANADA TOMORROW
Tomorrow, Team USA will return to action when it takes on host Canada. Puck drop for the tilt will be 7 p.m. ET and can be streamed live on HockeyTV.com. The two teams last met on Monday (Dec. 3), where the U.S. skated to a 3-0 victory.
