GAMEDAY PLANS
The morning will start with a team breakfast at the hotel, followed by a morning skate (11:00am-12:00pm) at the Sandman Centre. With 29 players on Team USA's current roster, a number of healthy scratches will be expected as the U.S. staff continues its evaluation process.
"At the end of the day, every player here is on a tryout to make this team," said head coach Mike Hastings. "We've been bouncing players around whether that's mixing some skill with size or taking a winger and putting him at center. It's a short window here to get chemistry going and finding fits that work and we're looking forward to every player giving it their all here tonight."
