The USWNT enjoyed a much-needed day of rest today following back-to-back games this weekend, and will look ahead to a game against Russia tomorrow.

ADVENTURES IN HELSINKI
On the off-day, many players and staff took the 15-minute ride on the metro to downtown Helsinki to explore the shops and restaurants, and spend time with family. A couple of popular sites included the fortress island of Suomenlinna, which is a brief ferry ride away from downtown Helsinki, Helsinki Senate Square and the Temppeliaukio Rock Church.

TOURNAMENT UPDATE
The U.S. has played three games thus far and will play its fourth and final preliminary round game tomorrow (Tuesday) against Russia. Since this is the first year that the IIHF WWC has moved to a 10-team format, this is this first time that the U.S. will play a fourth prelim. To this point, the U.S. has collected three wins in as many games, defeating Finland in its tournament opener, as well as Canada and Switzerland. At this stage, Kendall Coyne Schofield (Palos Heights, Ill.) leads the team in points scored with five (two goals, three assists), while Hilary Knight (Sun Valley, Idaho) leads in goals scored with three.
