Aug. 8: Day Four

Another day, another action-packed morning of practice at the 2019 Women's National Festival. After breakfast, the players returned to the rink Thursday morning for practices. The O18 teams each practiced separately on the USA Rink while the U18 team practiced on the 1980 Rink.

With it being an off-day for the O18 scrimmages, all four O18 teams gathered for a mantra session on Thursday evening to discuss and develop a women’s national team mantra to promote throughout the rest of the festival and going into the series against Canada.

To cap off the day, all players gathered to watch and discuss the film ‘In Search of Greatness’ at the Olympic Training Center.

U18 and O18 scrimmages resume tomorrow beginning with team gold versus team white at 3:45 p.m. ET. For the complete Women's National Festival schedule, click here.
