WINNER, WINNER!
It was all smiles at breakfast this morning after Team USA defeated Canada, 4-1, in the opening contest of the Rivalry Series. Alex Cavallini (Delafield, Wis.) was named the U.S. Player of the Game and nine skaters recorded points in the victory. Abby Roque (Sault Ste. Marie, Mich.) notched her first career goal as a member of the senior national team. Newcomer Britta Curl (Bismarck, N.D.) also recorded her first point with the U.S. Women's National Team, tallying an assist on Roque's third-period goal. In addition, Team USA was 2-for-6 on the power play while Canada was 1-for-2.

TAROT CARDS
After a pair of delays kept Team USA grounded, players and staff passed the time at the airport with a tarot card reading from team massage therapist Stephanie Sears. Tarot cards are a form of divination, which literally means working with the divine, or your higher self, just like yoga.
